So I've taken a 2nd job to help me save funds as I go into my final year of school. I DO NOT want to work like an animal and do school like I have done in the past. Mostly this is because I want to finish strong and get a good internship position. And I don't want to have to worry too much about paying bills and such.
This new job is retail and allows me a lot of downtime. I have decided to make the most of it though. I'm catching up on some reading but also I'm writing a new script. The ideas are still rolling around in my head. Some days they come hard and fast, other days are slow and I get nothing going. Writing is a tough thing but I think that's what makes it so rewarding when it's all over.
I'm also planning on grabbing an old script I wrote back in school-days and rewrite it, making the dialogue a lot deeper in meaning and emphasizing certain key story points.
The job may be slow, but it's perks like these that will keep me here looking busy and keep my creativity flowing.
Alright, now off to more reading and writing!
